Katherine Ryan and Storytelling

Katherine Ryan is a Canadian comedian in the United Kingdom. She has been on many talk shows in the UK, has two specials on Netflix, and her very own tv show. She created a podcast during lockdown called "Telling Everybody Everything." Katherine's podcast is one of my favorite forms of storytelling. I listen to it while I work out and it is a great distraction. One of the main reasons I love Katherine's podcast is her humor. She is constantly telling stories that make you laugh and even the way she tells them is effective. Katherine tells you all of her stories like you are her friend. She is very honest and straightforward which makes the stories funnier because you can tell she really means what she is saying.

One of my favorite aspects of her show is that she will usually answer questions that fans have sent. These questions are life advice questions and Katherine will use her own experiences to give advice to the people asking the questions. I also love the way she organizes her podcast. She will usually start out talking about a current event and then end the podcast with questions if there is time. I love the way she explains current events because she can bring humor to them while also explaining what is happening in the world. Katherine's honest and truthful storytelling makes listening to her podcast fun and enjoyable.
