I watched the PechKucha video "The Art of Shot." I was first drawn to this video because it was under the film section and film is my favorite form of media. The video goes through different iconic shots from famous movies and explains each shot. I liked this video because it let the pictures speak more than the words did. I also like that he did speak over the video. I think if he would have just had words or descriptions it would have (1) taken away from the photos and (2) not have been explained as eloquently. I think it would have been cool if he could have played some of the clips so we could see how the camera moves into the shots but other than that the still photos were good. I liked that the creator of the video made it so the pictures were the captivating part and the audience was able to learn from them.

I enjoyed this form of PechaKucha because it was simple but effective. I liked how it was just the pictures with a voice-over of talking. This way the pictures were able to give full effect to the audience. I believe I will use a similar technique when making my own. I want the pictures to accurately describe what I am talking about and speak for themselves.
