This is the first time I have ever done Photoshop. This is the original picture that I am going to photoshop on. This picture was taken on the first day of my senior year of high school. In the picture is my best friend (on the right of me) and my other two friends on the left.

For the second photo, I used the photoshopping technique of cropping. I changed the photo because unfortunately due to college the two girls on the left I consider to be more acquaintances than friends. I still, however, am very close with my best friend on the right and want to still have memories of my first day of senior year. I find the cropping technique really helpful for taking out unwanted objects in pictures. I also think it is nice to be able to use a picture of four people crop the other two out and use the picture of the two of you for birthday social media posts.

For the last photoshopping technique I used two. I enhanced the exposure and I also made it black and white. The reason I enhanced the exposure was that I liked how it brightened up our faces and made it so you could not really tell what the background sky looked like. I learned that since my friend and I are so pale enhancing the exposure can make us disappear if I do it too much. I also decided to make it black and white. This was more for an aesthetic vibe and I like the idea that it kind of looks like an old movie.
